Internationally recognized as Georgetown's Study Center in Florence, the Villa provides eligible college students the opportunity to study abroad for a semester, year, or summer. The Villa also hosts conferences and lectures that are open to the local community in Florence..

Villa Le Balze has become recognized not simply as the campus of a distinguished American University in Italy, but as a center of learning and scholarship. We invite you to learn more about the Villa's lecture series, past conferences, and publications.

Media inquiries, including print media and campus newspapers, should be directed to Kathy Bellows, Executive Director of OIP, at 202-687-5867 or bellowsk@georgetown.edu.

All informational interview or student interview requests must be submitted to the appropriate senior staff member via email. The email request must include the purpose of the interview, the questions that will be asked, as well as the deadline for submitting a response. While we may not always be able to accommodate all interview requests, we are happy to receive inquiries.
