Study Tours

Villa Le Balze’s study tours offer an immersive experience that combines Georgetown’s excellent academics with cultural exposure. Reintroduced in 2024 after a decade without them, the study tours have created opportunities for the entire Georgetown community to have a Villa Le Balze experience! From current students to alumni, from students’ families to friends of Georgetown, everyone has the opportunity to experience Italy firsthand while on a guided tour with a Georgetown faculty member.

Our tours emphasize interdisciplinary study: participants interact with multiple fields of study focused on a central theme. Group excursions during past tours have visited the Roman Theater of Fiesole, Florence’s Duomo (Florence Cathedral), the Montalcino wine region, and so much more!
